CBSE Introduced Two Levels Of Mathematics In Class 10

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced two levels of mathematics for Class 10 students in an innovative manner. It has issued a circular announcing the addition of two levels of mathematics for the All India Secondary School Examination beginning with the academic session ending in March 2020.

According to a CBSE news release, "the two levels of examination provide for different types of learners and allow varied levels of assessment; it would also reduce overall student stress levels."

Some of the key details of this scheme are given below.

  • ·         Class 9 will not have two levels of assessment/examination.
  • ·         Students should be aware that the first level will be the same as the current one, while the second will be easier.
  • ·         There are two books: Mathematics Standard (for the current level of examination) and Mathematics Basic (for the easier level of examination).
  • ·         Both levels would receive the same classroom instruction, curriculum, and internal assessment.
  • ·         The Mathematics-standard level is intended for students who want to study mathematics in Senior Secondary.
  • ·         Mathematics-Basic is intended for students who do not want to pursue the subject at a higher level.
  • ·         Students have the option to pick when the connected school submits the List of Candidates (LoC).

Prepare 45 Days' Study Plan

Students must manage their time and study correctly in order to complete their preparation for all topics on time. Students should now create a 45 days study plan and begin studying according to that schedule for the remaining time until the start of board exams. It will help them in allocating equal time to all subjects and meeting their deadlines.

 Practice with Topper Solutions

Referring to CBSE Topper Solutions is one of the most effective ways to pass the CBSE Board Exam 2023. To simply answer the questions on the exam, it is necessary to understand how toppers answer the same problems effectively. The CBSE Toppers' Solution provides students with an overview of all courses, as well as highlights of how to answer questions and cover all of the crucial points that can result in maximum scores.

Don't Forget to Take Breaks

Students sometimes forget to take breaks while preparing for board exams, and they end up studying for longer periods of time. Holding and relaxing are equally crucial as studying. Continuously studying for hours on end will simply exhaust your body and leave you unable to recall what you have learned. Relaxing your mind and body is equally important for staying energised and focused when studying. Students must take breaks to sip water, eat food, and relax for a few minutes.

Give Extra Time to Tough Subjects

Every person has both a strength and a weakness. While you may be good at one subject, there may be another that you find challenging. Math is a subject that many students find difficult, thus they are obliged to devote more attention and effort to it. Your weak topic can only become your favourite subject if you focus on it and devote extra study time to it.

A Thorough Revision of the Syllabus

The most effective strategy to study for the CBSE board exams in a short amount of time is to thoroughly review the entire syllabus quickly.

A thorough comprehension of the subject and familiarity with the exam pattern can significantly minimise students' mental stress and ensure efficient exam preparation. Focusing on the syllabus and studying all of the relevant topics to eliminate any concerns or misconceptions is a definite way to ace the final exam.

 Solve Previous Year’s Question Papers

Solving sample question papers, particularly board exam questions from the previous five years, is a clever method for covering most topics in the shortest amount of time.

Previous Year's Question Papers and Mock Tests help students grasp the questions and gain a clear picture of the exam format. As a result, tackling sample papers will keep you motivated as you prepare for the CBSE board exams.
